October Principals Message

Dear Botha School Community,

As we complete the first month of the new school year, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible Botha School Community.

The start of a new school year is always an exciting, yet challenging time. This year has been no exception, as we have worked together to ensure a smooth transition and create an engaging, supportive learning environment for our students.

Our students have embraced the opportunity to reconnect with their peers after a summer away, engage in meaningful learning, and participate in the vibrant school culture that makes our community so special. The students attended two cross country meets where they represented our school proudly and put forth an exceptional effort.

Our teachers and staff have worked tirelessly to ensure a successful start to the year, creating engaging lesson plans, fostering supportive learning environments, and going above and beyond to meet the diverse needs of our students. Their unwavering commitment to our school is admirable.

And to our families, your partnership and support have been invaluable. From volunteering your time at Parent Council and Hot Lunch, to attending school events such as cross country and Terry Fox, to reinforcing the importance of education at home, your involvement has been instrumental in shaping the positive experience of the first month.

As we look ahead to the remainder of the school year, I am confident that we will continue to learn and grow. Together, we will navigate any challenges that arise, celebrate our successes, and ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive in our building.

Thank you all for your continued dedication to our school community. As always, please reach out if you have any concerns or questions about the school or your child's learning.

Sincerely,

Joy Corpataux, Principal, Botha School
